Peter Bowling
CEO & Founder
With over 50 years of experience in commercial and domestic construction, Peter began his career as an apprentice carpenter and quickly advanced into domestic and commercial contracting. After achieving registration as an unlimited builder, he mastered both sectors with exceptional expertise. His diverse portfolio ranges from general housing projects to specialized developments exceeding $50 million. These include high-end residences, state-of-the-art auditoriums, cutting-edge tech and data centers, and large-scale distribution facilities. Peter’s hands-on approach, including his own developments, reflects his deep understanding of every aspect of construction. His commitment to excellence, quality, and innovation has earned him a reputation as a trusted leader in the industry. Beyond his commitments to launching PayLocker, Peter enjoys flipping houses, spending time with his dogs, gardening, exotic cars, and skiing.
John Cashmore
Co-Founder
With over 40 years of experience in the financial services sector, John has built a distinguished career as a company director and CEO, leading organisations ranging from large multinationals to dynamic enterprises. His leadership journey spans decades, with key roles across Sydney, regional Australia, and the Pacific region, where he has successfully guided businesses through complex challenges and opportunities. In addition to his executive expertise, John is a trusted advisor, known for driving sustainable growth, enhancing operational performance, and executing strategic initiatives. His deep understanding of financial markets, paired with a collaborative leadership style, has earned him a strong reputation for delivering results and creating value across all levels. In John spare time he enjoys family, travelling, skiing and walking to stay fit.
Brett Morton
Co-founder
Brett began his career as a trainee manager at Venture stores advancing to relief manager in Victoria before undertaking a 12-month secondment across Australia in search of something new and exciting. Returning with fresh insights, he launched a graffiti removal business, securing contracts with Coles Myer and the Victorian Railways. He later pioneered one of Australia’s first self-storage facilities, founded the Self-Storage Association of Australia (still functioning today), and won Hoppers Crossing Business of the Year in 2002. In 1997, Brett partnered to invent a photo magnet applicator, earning a silver medal at the 2nd world’s largest, USA’s world’s largest invention show. Retiring in 2005 – 2012 he found this not to be his thing, purchasing a rental franchise business expanding it 700% and selling it three years later. He currently mentors various businesses throughout Australia and thrives on challenges where he continues to innovate. Between business commitments Brett is an avid lover of caravaning, golfing and skiing.
