About PayLocker
Paylocker the new industry safeguard for trust , certainty and transparency for every build. From Day one to done rely on Paylocker.
Founded by industry professionals who saw firsthand the damage caused by insolvencies, mismanaged funds and stalled projects, PayLocker has reimagined how payments should work. We combine compliance-grade financial rails, milestone-based releases and real-time visibility to create a safer, smarter way to build.
PayLocker was created to solve one of the biggest pain points in residential construction—trust. For too long, homeowners, builders, and trades have faced delays, disputes, and financial risk due to unsecured deposits and unclear payment practices. PayLocker exists to change that.
We are a purpose-driven fintech safeguard built specifically for the construction industry. Our platform secures project funds in dedicated client-named accounts held with independent banks, ensuring money is protected and only released when agreed milestones are met. This gives every party—owners, builders, trades and suppliers—clarity, transparency and control from contract to completion. Our 1% safeguard model allows builders to improve cashflow confidence, reduces disputes and protects homeowners without the complexity of traditional trust structures. By digitising approvals, live ledgers and audit trails, PayLocker provides peace of mind, stronger relationships and a level playing field across the supply chain.
We’re not a bank, insurer or escrow provider—we’re a new category designed to protect progress and deliver confidence in every build. Whether you’re starting a renovation or managing large residential projects, PayLocker ensures funds are secure, accountable and working exactly as intended.
Pay Safer. Build Smarter. That’s the PayLocker promise.

Peter Bowling
CEO - Founder
With more than 50 years in the construction industry—and an innate drive to blaze new trails—Peter’s career has always married hands-on craftsmanship with bold entrepreneurship. After rising from apprentice carpenter to registered as an unlimited-builder he didn’t just deliver high-value projects; he founded and grew multiple development companies, transforming properties into sort after residences. A calculated risk-taker, Peter continuously explores emerging construction methods—including prefabricated modular assemblies to a fully automated laser guided hedge trimming machine. In 2020, convinced that construction payments were long overdue for innovation, he set aside convention to build PayLocker—an AI-powered platform that synchronizes payments with on-site progress, mitigates risk, and unlocks liquidity exactly when it’s needed. Self-funded from inception and bolstered by a strategic seed round, PayLocker is on the verge of launch, poised to revolutionize how builders can better navigate the building payments process and execute projects profitably. His entrepreneurial vision blends deep technical know-how with a knack for spotting market gaps—and partnering with the right people to fill them. When he isn’t steering PayLocker toward its next milestone, you’ll find Peter tending his garden, carving fresh tracks on alpine slopes, indulging his love of exotic cars, or simply unwinding with his dogs.
